Halo -Saint Justin II- by justin-mctwisp Halo -Saint Justin II- by justin-mctwisp
Alright, so this is a self-portrait of sorts.

In a way it's a statement of how I am definitely not a saint. Also a comment on the Catholic church and their immense number of saints, and the ridiculous reasons they were canonized (there was a woman who was canonized as a saint just because she had a wet dream involving angels in her sleep). So, if you knew me, you'd know they would never sanctify my personage.

Prismacolor pen and ink on 11"x17" bristol, Photoshop editing.

Really love the variety in colour and shape within the portrait. The background gradient is very well done. Looks like a lot of hard work paid off! Great piece.

this is beautiful. How long did it take you to do all the cuts?

I actually didn't cut any paper on this. Just colored in my lined ink.

Thank you! It took forever to color that way, so I'm grateful you enjoy it!
