Number six in my Disney Villains Portraiture. Here we have Gaston showing off, proudly, his gallery. In the paintings behind him we have six of his children along with a painting of him and his bride, Belle.
Nature vs. Nurture is the idea that if someone's parents are bad (say they are abusive or something like that) the child is raised in a safe home environment by loving protective parents, either the kids' genes will cause them to follow in their "bad" parents footsteps or they will be good productive members of society following the teachings of the "good" parents. At least I think that's right. It's been awhile since I read up on it.
I’d be really interested in seeing some hi-res close-ups of the photos on the wall behind Gason, especially the one of him and Belle at what I can only assume is their wedding. I really want to know what expression she’s got.
You could do him and Waternoose (in my defense I am not sure how to spell it) making lots of money with the scream suckers and watching Mike and Sully suffer in the Himalayas(via video screen obviously).
poor Belle, is she smiling in her picture? one of the boys looks like a mini prince charming from Cinderella and another looks like Taran from the Black Cauldron, was that on purpose? fantastic picture, horrifying but fantastic
